Port Blair, April 13: As per the direction of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GoI under the aegis of AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV, the District Administration through its District Health Society, South Andaman is organising the Block Level Health Mela from 18th April to 22nd April 2022. Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman reviewed the preparedness of all line departments to be held in all three blocks of the South Andaman viz. Shore Point, Panchayat Community Hall on 18th April 2022, R. K. Pur, Panchayat Community hall on 20th April, 2022 and Carbyn’s Cove, Port Blair on 22nd & 23rd April 2022.

Port Blair, April 13: On 11.04.2022, the Police team comprising SI Abdul Azad, I/c PS Humfrigunj, HC/Bijoy Sarkar, PC/Aurangzeb Ahmed and PC/Sabraj Mohd. while on patrolling near Wandoor Fish Landing jetty area in the night hours located an engine dinghy.

Port Blair, April 13: The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell, JNRM in association with the DAY-NRLM, Gram Panchayat, Beodnabad organised a three-day Skill Development Training on Food Processing - Pickle, Jam, Jelly & Squash Preparation in Beodnabad Gram Panchayat Hall for the women from 11th to 13th April 2022. The valedictory function held today in the Gram Panchayat Hall.
